Zoeva En Taupe Palette

No comments :
I am so excited about this palette. So, so excited. Let me start by telling you that I've had it for almost a month now and I have used at least one color in it every single day that I've worn makeup. The Zoeva brand is from Germany, and unfortunately the only way you can order from them right now is directly from their website. If you are in the US it takes about 2-1/2 weeks to ship but let me tell you, it's worth the wait! (Their site is https://www.zoeva-shop.de/)
If you're a big fan of taupe shades like I am, you NEED this palette.
It's got a good mix of mattes, shimmers, and even a shade with glitter in it. I love that it's neutral yet the colors are pretty unique. At first glance on their site I thought it was pretty, but in person it's SO MUCH better!

You get 12 shades. I believe it was around $15 USD but then the shipping kills because it's another $15. I paid around $30 all together for it, but I was super curious because I had heard such great things about this brand. Honestly, this is worth the $30.
First we have Stitch by Stitch, which is a matte cream. This is perfect for highlighting or blending out any of the other shades.
Then there's Handmade, a light shimmery peach shade:
Gallery is a matte taupe. This one has been my go-to crease shade since I got it!

Hour by Hour is a matte pinky beige:

This is one of my favorite shades in here, called Old Master. If you watch the show The Strain you'll know why that made me giggle a bit lol. It is a taupey gray matte with gold and pink glitter in it. Super unique, and the glitter actually shows up!

Spun Pearl is a shimmery white. Great highlighting shade if you want a shimmery highlight. It especially looks great on the inner corners!

Sheers & Voiles is a light gray with a pink iridescent sheen to it. This is another favorite of mine.

Outline is a metallic brown with a slight pink tone:

Wrapped in Silk is a metallic taupe:

Last but not least, Exquisite is a matte cranberry. This is what I was hoping Punk would be from the Gwen palette, but that one failed me in blending ability. This makes up for it!!

As you can tell by the swatches, everything is beautifully pigmented. It's hard to believe that this is a $15 palette, the equivalent to drugstore brands over here. They blend SO nicely, and I am extremely impressed with the matte shades and their performance. So much so that I have been telling everyone I know who is into makeup that they need to order a palette from this company lol. If you decide to, I definitely recommend the En Taupe Palette, but they have a bunch of others that I'm dying to try as well - everything from neutrals to brights!
