Maple Holistics Review + GIVEAWAY!

7 comments :
I have some great products to review for you guys today from a brand called Maple Holistics. They sent me a shampoo, a conditioner, and a foot scrub to try out and I want t share my thoughts with you guys!
First is the Assuage Robust Moisturizing Scrub:
When I first saw this, I was surprised because usually scrubs are pretty thick and have visible gritty bits to them to exfoliate. This one is way different than any I've ever tried. It's very thin, and the pumice in it is so finely ground up that you can barely see it, but you can definitely feel it once you start using it!
The main ingredients here are pumice stone, tagetes and tea tree, and peppermint supreme. This has a really strong minty-menthol scent to it, so that might not be for everyone, but it's really been working well for me so far! Sometimes I'll scrub my feet with it before a soak in the foot bath, and sometimes I'll just take it in the shower with me to do a quick scrub. Either way works pretty well - my feet feel softer and smoother afterwards. This is $13.77 on their site https://www.mapleholistics.com/products/scrubs/assuage-foot-scrub/

Now for the Argan Shampoo! I like that it has a nice bright red bottle - definitely makes it stand out!
This only has a very light scent to it, so anyone sensitive to smells will love that. It's good for all scalp types, which is another plus. I absolutely love that this has lots and lots of suds and you don't need too much of it. A big thing for me is that I have really thick hair, and go through a lot of shampoo. With this, because ti foams up so much I find myself not using as much as I normally do, because I can distribute it through my hair more easily, if that makes sense. It is sulfate free, which makes it fine to use on colored hair (a big plus for me since I'm always changing colors!) The main ingredients here are Argan, jojoba, peach kernel, almond, camellia seed, and avocado.
I'm always worried when I try a new shampoo, because my scalp tends to get super itchy sometimes if it doesn't like the shampoo formula I'm using. Luckily, I haven't had any problems with this one! I really enjoy it so far. It is $12.97 for this 8oz. bottle, or $23.35 for a 16oz. one here: https://www.mapleholistics.com/products/hair-care/argan-oil-shampoo/ - That is a bit pricey, but remember, a little goes a long way so this will last a long while!

Then lastly we have the Argan Conditioner in the same red packaging as the shampoo:
The thing I found odd about this conditioner is that it's unscented. I normally love a nice smelling conditioner to leave my hair smelling pretty, but I end up using so many scented products for my curls that it doesn't matter too much! Aside from that, I instantly felt like it was awesome for my hair the first time I used it in the shower. It's not a very thick formula as far as conditioners go, but again, a little bit of it goes pretty far, just like the shampoo. I love that about these hair products.
It leaves my hair very soft and shiny, and is amazing at combating frizz, especially in the humid weather we've been having this summer. I highly, highly recommend this for my fellow curly-haired readers!! This is slightly cheaper than the shampoo, $7.89 for this 8oz. bottle and $14.20 for the 16oz. here: https://www.mapleholistics.com/products/conditioner/argan-oil-conditioner/

  2. Thank you for bringing Maple Holistics to my attention, it sounds like a product line I would love to try! I am not sure if I can enter your giveaway though, as I am located in the UK and I see you are quoting the prices in dollars, so I assume you are in the US. Never mind. Just have to find a UK stockist now.
