Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Cream

No comments :

This may seem like an odd thing for me to review, but i figured I could put it to good use because I have been having some sleeping issues lately. I never had trouble sleeping until the last year or so. Maybe it's old age setting in? hahaha. I think a big part of it is that I work from home now, so I don't have a set time to get up every day, and I should never have gone off my schedule to begin with because it has messed up my sleep schedule! At any rate, this is a cream that contains Melatonin, which is supposed to help you sleep.

Now I've heard of taking Melatonin pills, but rubbing cream onto your hands? That was a new one to me. You get 1.7 oz. in this tube, which has a pump top dispenser. Each pump is one dose, and it says there are 60 doses per tube.
You are supposed to rub one full pump into your skin just before going to bed.
It doesn't have a scent to it, which is kind of a bummer. I like nice scents when it comes to creams. It would be cool if it smelled like lavender, or some other calming scent to it. I wasn't expecting much from this. I'm not going to lie and say it knocked me out right away, but I will say I fell asleep faster using this. I've never taken Melatonin pills, but I have tried things like Zzz-quil and that gives you that super drowsy feeling. This isn't as strong as that stuff, I noticed I got the sleepy feeling but wasn't super drowsy like I needed to knock out right then and there. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a natural sleep aid!
