Milani Fierce Foil Eyeliner in Purple Foil
The Milani Fierce Foil Eyeliner was a bit of a disappointment for me. I picked up Purple Foil a while ago, and just have not been that fond of it. I did find a way to make it work for me a little better than it was, but even so, it's not that great of a liner. Let me explain!
It comes with a cute little detail brush that I would rather use as an inner corner highlight brush than to apply liner. In the pan, the liner looks almost black with purple and gold sparkles. It is not noticeably purple, as it applies so dark.
It doesn't go on very smoothly, so I find that it tugs a bit when applying. That is the main issue I have with it. You have to keep dipping into it to make sure it doesn't apply patchy. Now, the best way I found to use this is to apply a black liner as you normally would, and then pat this on top of the black. It shows up SO MUCH BETTER that way and actually looks more purple than when you just apply it alone.
That being said, the lasting power on it is pretty good. I wish it applied more smoothly, but I can't complain too much because I picked this up on sale. I have glitter liners that give a much better effect and apply a lot more easily, but if you are really wanting to try these out I would suggest waiting for a sale, as they're not worth paying a full $9.99 for!
