Kat Von D Tattoo Brow in Medium Brown
Kat finally has a brow product! I was super excited to see this, because I hadn't heard anything about it until I saw it up on the Sephora site when I went to order the other new spring things that released. I picked up the color medium brown, since dark brunette is already sold out. This was a good move, because I think that one would be more for those who want super dark/black brows. This one seems to be a good match for me.
Initially I thought I wouldn't use this much because I figured it was more for people who shave their brows off and draw them on completely. However, I found that you can go really natural with it, and even draw hair strokes because the tip is so super fine on it.
It is a brush tip, and looks exactly like the Tattoo Liner. The product is a liquid, and you can get very precise with it. I don't really use it to completely fill in my brows though, since it is so thin. I use this to outline my brow shape, then use a brow powder and fill them in afterwards.
By applying different amount of pressure, you can get the color as light or as dark as you want it, as you can see here. I really love that about this product!
It does not claim to be waterproof, but I'm going to go ahead and say it is because this stuff does not budge. It is liquid, but dries quickly and you can rub your finger over your brows without it smudging. I also sprayed them with a water bottle for good measure, and there was no running/dripping/bleeding/anything!
I was very excited to see this added to Kat's makeup line, and definitely recommend trying it out. I hope she does shimmery highlight powders sometime in the near future, then I think she'll have made every product imaginable!
