It's a LIPSTICK, Get Over It!!

This isn't a review today, but it is a beauty related rant. Check out this article here that pissed me off before reading my rant: Sephora is selling an inappropriately named lipstick that has people disgusted

Those of you who have followed me for a while know that Kat Von D is my favorite brand of makeup, hands down. So naturally I have to get this off my chest. First of all, what is wrong with people? Can I just ask that? Why are uptight morons so easily offended? They already got her color Celebutard banned for this same reason. I remember being really agitated about that, because it was one of my favorite nude lipsticks. Now I have to use it sparingly because I can't get it anymore.

Secondly, why does it seem like Kat's brand keeps being targeted? I don't see articles like this about NARS, who names blushes things like Orgasm, Deep Throat, and Sex Fantasy! Those things are okay, but the word "underage" isn't? Come on. We're living in a world where people will find seek out the most minute little thing to get offended over, and make a huge deal about it. Granted her brand seemed to get a lot more recognition with the Shade & Light palette, since everyone and their mother seems to be obsessed with contouring lately, so with that brings more attention and more annoying people finding things to bitch about. But again, why do other brands with names that could be found offensive not receive any flack? That article even states MAC has a lipstick called Underage as well, so where's the ban on that one?

The main point I want to make here is that there are much more important things in the world to worry about other than getting your panties in a twist over the name of a damn lipstick. Get over it, people.
