Kat Von D Lock-It Featherweight Primer

Here it is, Kat's new face primer! This stuff is awesome, I can't even tell you how much I already love it. I'm telling you right now, if you're in the market for a new primer to try - get this one!!!

First of all, the packaging is great. It's in the same kind of push-up pump tube that her foundation comes in. I really like this type of packaging, because the plunger at the bottom pushes the product up with each pump - it makes me feel like it's SUPER airtight and my products will last longer.
The stopper/plug for the spout is cool, too - it has her KVD insignia on it:
The opening is small and precise, allowing a small bit to come out at a time. I find 2 pumps of this is enough for my face.
The formula itself is thin and feels like a moisturizer. I love that it sinks right into your skin and doesn't feel like anything at all.

So how well does it work? I have put it to the test with several different foundations, and even if I only use this and a face powder, it somehow makes my skin look flawless! Makeup sticks to it really well and holy crap does it last all day. You guys know I am super oily, and this helps to keep me matte all day long. It really just preps your face and gives you a perfect blank canvas for your makeup to apply easily to.

There is no scent to it, so those of you who do not like scented products will enjoy that. Like I said, it doesn't feel like anything on the skin so you won't have that heaviness that comes with some primers. It also doesn't have that silicone feeling at all, which I absolutely hate in a primer. It's not greasy, not sticky, it just melts right into your skin and leaves a smooth surface for you to apply your foundation.

I am already in love with this stuff - have you tried it yet? Let me know what you think!

I also filmed a video about the primer, you can check it out here:
