Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush

No comments :
Kohl's was recently having a buy 1, get 1 50% off sale so I picked up some of the only brushes I don't have from the line. This is the Fine Liner Brush, and is much finer than the Pixel Point Liner brush that comes in the Starter Kit.

Like all Real Techniques brushes, I appreciate that the brush name is labeled on the end - this comes in handy when you are doing a tutorial and can't remember the name of the brush you're using!

The bristles are mostly black, with white at the tips. It is pretty soft and flexible.

I have been wanting to use something other than my bent liner brush all the time for my gel liners. This one is pretty great for applying both gel and liquid liners. Most of the time with liquid liners, I hate the brushes/applicators that come with them and always end up using my bent liner brush to apply them. However, this one works just as well - it all comes down to what brush design you'd rather use!

I did a couple of swatches with my Urban Decay Super Saturated cream liner just to show you the thickness:
I definitely enjoy it so far, I think it's a great addition to my brush collection! If you haven't tried and Real Techniques brushes, I HIGHLY recommend them. I've got just about all of them now and for such an affordable brush line, they are my favorites out of all the ones I've tried!!

I also talk about the brush in this video:
