It was only a matter of time before I picked up another one of these lovely Color Elixirs, this time in the color Signature Scarlet. As much as I don't dig the flavor these give off, I have to say they are an amazing product and I can look past it because they perform so well!
This is a perfect bright red.
While the last one I got was more subtle, this one is totally bright, in your face, saturated color! So it shows that they have a little something for everybody in this collection.
I absolutely love the shine that these give to my lips - the perfect gloss without having to add a lip gloss! Though I have heard these described as glosses, I definitely classify them as a liquid lipstick because they last much longer than a gloss and also have great color payoff.
I will say with a bolder color like this, the applicator isn't the best for it - you need to be pretty precise with it to make sure it doesn't look messy. My suggestion is to use a lip brush instead - much easier! But I definitely recommend these unless, of course, you are sensitive to scents in lip products because this one smells like vanilla, but has a floral/perfumey type flavor once on the lips. It does go away after a bit but just a warning!
