Makeup Geek Gel Liner - Poison

No comments :
I have never seen a red eyeliner like this. As soon as I saw swatches from xSparkage, I had to get this. The packaging on the Makeup Geek stuff is colorful and cute (pink and purple box!) and the product comes in a glass jar with a matte black lid that has the MUG logo on it.
In the pot it looks like more of a maroon color - don't let that fool you! This is a true, blood red, super pigmented liner.
This is just from one swipe around the top of the product. If you are a nut for red shadows like I am, this is a must-have in your collection. It is nice and smooth and blends great if you're looking to use it as a base.
Here is a swatch of it - I can't get over what a perfect red it is! Not too orange or pink like most reds end up being!
And for the heck of it, I took a picture using it as a base for Sugarpill's Asylum loose shadow. It is amazing!! It's also a perfect base for their Love+ shadow as well. To sum it up, I mostly got this to use as a red base for my favorite red shadows. BUT I have a feeling I will be using it a lot come Halloween time - using this on the waterline is going to create awesome effects when you need to do "bloody" looks!!

I have to again mention how affordable this is at $7.99 - you really can't beat the price on Makeup Geek products for the amount of quality they have. I loved the pigment I tried, and I definitely love this as well!
